How Much Does It Cost To Become An RN In Florida?

February 26, 2019 by admin 2 Comments

Introduction

Becoming an RN in Florida may sound difficult, but honestly it is not that difficult at all. To become a Registered Nurse, we must follow the ways set by the state of Florida.

These set of rules says that you must choose your entry level program. This is a significant step because these different degrees and programs say a lot about your RN degree.

Pre-Requisites

These different programs are BSN (Bachelor of Science degree) and ADN (associate degree in nursing).

BSN can take up to four years to get completed while ADN can take up to two to three years. You will have to take anatomy, chemistry, microbiology, psychology, behavioral and social sciences as you study courses while you are attending any program to become an RN.

You must also remember that when you are choosing for the program, your cost will vary according to that and also the RN degree or diploma program’s cost vary from state to state.

Cost/Fees

The cost of completing two years to become an RN regardless of the program usually can cost from $9,000 – $26,000 while four-year long course can cost anywhere from $26,000 to $100,000.

Here it is noteworthy to mention that private institutions can charge you fees according to their own rules and regulations. You must remember that the hidden charges such as books, supplies, tuitions, transportation, and other such compulsory necessities charges are not included in it.

Government colleges have somewhat low fees while private ones are not so cheap to begin within the first place.

The cost don’t include the living expenses, you have to pay for your living besides the course program. The charges for books and other supplies differ according to the number of books you want and the writer you prefer
